After 600 days of winter, I am so excited to finally start enjoying some of the spoils of warm spring weather. My first festival of the season was the Midwest Sweet and Natural Festival held in Washington Park this past Sunday. If you are a hair product junkie like me and you are always on the hunt for the right potion to make your curls pop this is a can’t miss event.
You can find everything from curl pudding, handmade soap, accessories, and I even found some bomb satin hair bonnets (think Tami Roman a la Bonnet Chronicles). This year’s festival was packed with even more vendors, hair demonstrations, a fashion show, and a beard bar!! I also scored lots of hair product samples that I can’t wait to try so stay tuned for some natural hair product reviews.
