It’s official spring is in full bloom and I couldn’t be more excited to put away my winter coat. Living in the Midwest means that the weather has not made up it’s mind just yet on if it will be warm or mildly cold. That is why I like to have strong transitional pieces and accessories that give off a fresh spring vibe. When Jord reached out to me to review one of their wood watches I knew this was the perfect spring accessory that I had been in search of.
I have been intrigued by wood watches that I have seen in my Instagram feed and wondered if they were heavy or stiff. When I received my watch I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the beautiful packaging and found out that the watch is actually very light. Included with my watch was a sealant to protect the wood and keep it safe from water and other elements. I love how this watch juxtaposes my bracelets and adds a structured menswear element to my otherwise feminine outfit.
I love that this watch is sustainable and has such a classic look. Jord has a wide variety of wood watches for women and men. I definitely want to add a few more pieces to my watch collection. A wood watch is the perfect spring accessory to bring a classic vibe to your accessories in an unexpected way. I think a wood watch would be perfect for wedding season as groomsmen or bridesmaid made gift or if your mom loves nothing more than a chic watch this is the perfect Mother’s Day gift.
