I have been working like crazy styling a few clients and pulling together looks for the holiday season. I haven’t had much time to dedicate to getting together a blog post. I wanted to make sure that I shared some style and show how eclectic my wardrobe choices are through out the week and give you some everyday slay action. When I am planning a blog post I think I can over think a look and wanted to show more of my relaxed daily style. I am sharing my favorite looks from my most recent Instagram posts.
Plaid on Plaid Crime
I have been seeing people style plaid on plaid and I have been loving it. I love the laid back chic look of plaid and how it can be elevated or worn casual. I love my Old Navy flannel I plan to wear it a thousand different ways this season. Plaid on plaid is cozy pattern mixing that’s perfect fall and winter.
Be Fly On The Fly
Being fly on the fly is my motto I try my hardest look pulled together. A good jacket always pulls together a look to make it feel polished. It’s looks like you tried when you know that you didn’t. This faux suede jacket from SimplyBe has been my life saver! Even when I throw it over jeans and a tee shirt my outfit looks intentional which is great for when you’re running errands or standing a long line to vote. Also this Melissa McCartney maxi dress that came in my Gwynnie Bee (Try Gwynnie Bee Free Here) box was everything I just threw on some boots and ran out the door that morning!
All The Way
Don’t get it twisted even I have items that I have purchased that I just can not seem to get create a complete look, so in my closet it sits. I adore this top and skirt (plus top and skirt)from the Who What Wear collection form Target. I thought it was going to be a breeze to style, ugh. I love the car wash detail on the skirt but man I just have not found a third piece to pair with this out that pull this look together. I tried it on and took a few pictures so I could get a better visual idea on what I want to do with this set so stay tuned when it comes together I will be sure to put it on the blog.
The Boots That Vexed My Spirit
Seriously I was going through spiritual turmoil without a good pair of over the knee boots. I was on the verge of selling my soul for a pair. I honestly didn’t want to spend a lot of money for a pair for a few reasons over the knee boots are always on trend but the toe shape and boot shaft always change and I didn’t want to shell out a lot of money for a pair of boots that may end up looking like last seasons boot. Another dilemma is I HATE cheap looking boots. JustFab answered my prayers with sexy faux suede OTK boots! I don’t have thick calves so if you have smaller legs these are awesome since the adjustable tie on the back allows you to secure the boots over your knee!! Justfab does have a great selection of wide calve boots in addition to the ones I am wearing. Amen to these over the knee boots.
