Valentine’s Day Lookbook

DSCN1895

Valentine’s Day is approaching and the time has come to put together a sexy ensemble. . We all know that the best gift to give is to show up and look fabulous. What better way to show your appreciation for the chocolates, the flowers and all the diamonds you will receive. This year I’m single but I decided to celebrate with my Galentine Jeanne Declue of  FinesseCurves.com. We have put together great Valentine’s Day date night looks so whether you are headed out for a romantic date or a cocktail with your girls, you will be dressed to kill.

Dinner Date

This jumpsuit gave me a Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface vibe. The placement of the seams and the wide legs make the fit of this jumpsuit perfect for different body types. Pairing the jumpsut with a cropped leather jacket gave this look an edgy feel. This is a go -to look for when you want to walk into a room and own it. Did I mention that this jumpsuit is ridiculously comfortable.

Concert

Going to a concert is always a conflict for me because I want to be cute and comfortable. I love this looks because it can work with heels but you can easily add a denim jacket and flats. Pleated faux leather, yes, please! I am obsessed with this skirt it’s edgy, but the a-line shape of the skirt gives it a feminine touch. I wore a burnout t-shirt and a red tank for an added pop of colour. Depending on the weather where you are you may want to pair tights with a sexy bootie.

Drinks With The Girls

I love a look that has unexpected sexy. The boyfriend blazer and the plaid trousers have a serious and structured vibe. The camisole under my jacket gives a fun hint of sex appeal the velvet and lace add a lingerie feel to the over all look. This look would be perfect to wear to the office and then head straight to happy hour to grab a cocktail with your Galentine.

Netflix and Chill (no for real)

If you are anything like me, the last thing you want to do is stand in line at the mall waiting to be called for your Cheesecake Factory Reservation. I’d much rather eat great food at home and go out on a night less chaotic. This is the perfect outfit to stay in and cuddle up in. From the front, the top gives a relaxed vibe but when you turn around you reveal a sexy surprise.

  3. I love that you shared so many outfit options! I also totally agree about being conflicted when dressing for concerts. I always want to dress cute but also comfy. I usually opt for comfy shoes but dressing up the look with my makeup.

    1. Thanks for reading. No one wants to be uncomfortable half way through a concert 🙂
